Sheffield Chamber makes move for greener motoring

The Sheffield Chamber of Commerce has received a delivery of one of the country's first corporate orders of the new fortwo cdi model.
They will be used by the organisation's development executives and will be run on two-year leases, replacing the existing fleet of Toyota Yaris.
"It was a priority that the cars we chose displayed outstanding environmental credentials but were cheap to run too," noted Stephen Mitchell, Sheffield Chamber corporate partnerships director.
He added that the cars would provide a good look for those using them in and around the city, while highlighting the Chamber's green credentials.
The vehicles achieve 85.6 miles per gallon and emit 88g/km of CO2, which means that no road fund licence is required.
It was recently revealed that a business communications manager working for the Source in Sheffield was to appear on a new BBC1 show called Totally Saturday.
