Two Yorkshire-based companies have been bought for £725,000 by a leading property information services provider.
PSG has acquired Chalenor Legal Services and Yorkshire Home Inspections in cash and shares.
The two companies have traded as PSG Doncaster since 2004 and operate together under the PSG franchise. They have a turnover of around £900,000 and deliver property information services in East Yorkshire.
The new move will help consolidate PSG's services in the region and the company has merged the operation of PSG Doncaster with its wholly-owned West Yorkshire franchise in Huddersfield.
The new group will be known as PSG Yorkshire, providing its clients with what is described as "an improved and more efficient centralised service".
PSG will pay £350,000 in PSG ordinary shares of 20p each and £375,000 in cash for the two companies.
It delivers services including company and property searches, coal mining reports and drainage reports. It has over 100 offices nation-wide.
